Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2722

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The greatest thief is the one who steals his prayer." It was submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, how does he steal his prayer?" He said: "He does not complete its ruku' (bowing) and its sujud (prostrations). And the greatest miser is the one who is miserly with the greeting of salam."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in all three of his books (the three Mu'jams), and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
