Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The last prayer that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed (in congregation) was the Maghrib prayer. In it he recited Surah al-A'la in the first rak'ah and Surah al-Kafirun in the second rak'ah.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Hajjaj bin Nusayr, whom Ali bin al-Madini and a group declared da'if (weak), while according to one report Yahya bin Ma'in declared him thiqah (trustworthy). Ibn Hibban also declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
