عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُؤْمِنُ غِرٌّ كَرِيمٌ ، وَالْفَاجِرُ خِبٌّ لَئِيمٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ السَّفَرِ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer is guileless and noble, while the wicked person is deceitful and base."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Yusuf bin al-Safr, who is a liar (kadhdhab).
