بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَجْهَرُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ النَّهَارِ .

عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ هَا هُنَا قَوْمًا يَجْهَرُونَ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ النَّهَارِ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَفَلَا تَرْمُونَهُمْ بِالْبَعْرِ ؟ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ الْوَازِعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, there are some people here who recite aloud in the daytime prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "Did you not pelt them with dung?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains al-Wazi' bin Nafi', who is matruk (abandoned).
