Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2681

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and prayed two rak'ahs, and in both of them he recited only Surah al-Fatihah.
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la, al-Tabarani (in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir) and al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Hanzalah al-Sadusi, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared weak, while Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
