Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those in the first row."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil, about whom there has been criticism, though a group have declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
