وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى مَسْحِ الْحَصَى فَقَالَ : " وَاحِدَةٌ أَوْ دَعْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about everything, even about smoothing the pebbles with the hand, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do it once, or leave even that!
