عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ وَثَوْبُهُ عَلَى أَنْفِهِ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ خَطْمُ الشَّيْطَانِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ: ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should ever pray while his garment is over his nose, for that is the bridle of Satan."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, about whom there is criticism.
