Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2450

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any of you stands in prayer, he should not close his eyes."
Tabarani recorded it in all three (of his Mu'jams); its chain contains Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain), and he narrated it with 'an'anah (using 'from', without stating that he heard it).
