Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Qurt (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the night the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the night journey to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, when he returned he stood between the Station of Ibrahim and the well of Zamzam, with Sayyiduna Jibril on his right and Sayyiduna Mika'il on his left. The two of them flew with him (peace and blessings be upon him) until he reached the seven heavens. When he came back, he said: "In the upper heavens, along with much glorification, I heard this glorification: 'The upper heavens glorify the One possessed of awe, fearing the One possessed of loftiness for the loftiness that is His; He is free of every defect, and high and exalted.'"
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Miskin bin Maymun. Imam al-Dhahabi mentioned this narration in connection with him and said: It is munkar (rejected).
