وَعَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ أَدْرَكَ قَوْمًا جُلُوسًا فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِمْ فَقَالَ : قَدْ أَدْرَكْتُمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَقَتَادَةُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ .

Qatadah relates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) found some people sitting at the end of the prayer, and he said: If Allah wills, you have caught (the congregational prayer).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. The narrator Qatadah did not hear from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
