بَابُ إِمَامَةِ الْفَاسِقِ .

عَنْ عُمَرَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ خَلْفَ الْقَدَرِيِّ فَقَالَ : لَا تُصَلِّ خَلْفَهُ ، أَمَّا أَنَا لَوْ كُنْتُ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَهُ لَأَعَدْتُ صَلَاتِي .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَحَبِيبٌ ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ وَأَبُوهُ عُمَرُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ، وَبَقِيَّةُ مُدَلِّسٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَحَبِيبٌ ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ وَأَبُوهُ عُمَرُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ، وَبَقِيَّةُ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Umar al-Ansari narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) about praying behind a person belonging to the Qadariyyah sect. He said: Do not pray behind him. If I had prayed behind him, I would repeat my prayer.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a narration of Habib bin Umar from his father. Ibn Hibban mentioned Habib in his book al-Thiqat, but I do not know his father Umar. The narrator Baqiyyah is a mudallis (one who practises tadlis).
