Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2305

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been forbidden to pray behind (i.e. facing) people who are talking or people who are sleeping."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqamah, about whose use as evidence there is disagreement.
