وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُصَلِّي عَلَى خُمْرَةٍ فَقَالَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ارْفَعِي حَصِيرَكِ فَقَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ يَفْتِنُ النَّاسَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : وَهُوَ عِنْدَ مُسْلِمٍ وَأَصْحَابِ السُّنَنِ مُخْتَصَرًا فِي صَلَاتِهِ عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : وَهُوَ عِنْدَ مُسْلِمٍ وَأَصْحَابِ السُّنَنِ مُخْتَصَرًا فِي صَلَاتِهِ عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer prayer on a mat. (Once) he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Aishah! Take up your mat; I fear that people may be put to trial (by it).
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: Imam Muslim and the compilers of the Sunan recorded this narration in abridged form, on the subject of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offering prayer on a mat.
