وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي ثَوْبٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا فَلَمْ يَنَلْ طَرَفَاهُ فَعَقَدَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer having wrapped a garment around himself in the manner of tawshih; its two ends did not reach, so he tied them.
