وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ : " الصَّلَاةُ فِي الرِّحَالِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ وَزَادَ : "كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَلَيْنَا" وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ وَزَادَ : "كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَلَيْنَا" وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: On the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar, on a rainy day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer is to be offered at your lodgings."
Imam Ahmad, Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and Imam al-Bazzar recorded something similar, though he added these words: "He disliked that it should be a hardship for us." The narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
