وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَيْضًا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " حَسْبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنَ الشَّقَاءِ وَالْخَيْبَةِ أَنْ يَسْمَعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يُثَوِّبُ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يُجِيبُهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ زَبَّانُ أَيْضًا .

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is enough wretchedness and disgrace for a believer that he hears the mu'adhdhin calling to the prayer and then does not respond to him."
