وَعَنْ قَبَاثَ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ اللِّيثِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " صَلَاةُ الرَّجُلَيْنِ يَؤُمُّ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ أَزْكَى عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ أَرْبَعَةٍ تَتْرَى ، وَصَلَاةُ أَرْبَعَةٍ يَؤُمُّ أَحَدُهُمْ أَزْكَى عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ ثَمَانِيَةٍ تَتْرَى ، وَصَلَاةُ ثَمَانِيَةٍ يَؤُمُّ أَحَدُهُمْ أَزْكَى عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ مِائَةٍ تَتْرَى " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Qabath bin Ashyam al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two men praying in such a way that one of them leads the other is purer in the sight of Allah Almighty than four people praying separately; and four men praying in such a way that one of them leads is purer in the sight of Allah Almighty than eight men praying separately; and eight men praying in such a way that one of them leads is purer in the sight of Allah Almighty than one hundred people praying separately."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it; the narrators of Imam al-Tabarani have been declared trustworthy.
