بَابُ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ ، وَصَلَاتِهِنَّ فِي بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَصَلَاتِهِنَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ .

وَعَنْ أُمِّ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَمْنَعُنَا أَزْوَاجُنَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ وَنُحِبُّ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " صَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي حُجُرِكُنَّ ، وَصَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي حُجُرِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي دَوْرِكُنَّ، وَصَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي دَوْرِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyidah Umm Humayd (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Our husbands forbid us from praying following you, and we women love to pray following you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your praying, you women, in your houses is better than praying in your outer rooms, and your praying in your outer rooms is better than praying in your courtyards, and your praying in your courtyards is better than your praying in congregation.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, who has been criticized.
