Book of Prayer
بَابُ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ ، وَصَلَاتِهِنَّ فِي بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَصَلَاتِهِنَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ .

وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : "خَيْرُ مَسَاجِدِ النِّسَاءِ قَعْرُ بُيُوتِهِنَّ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى وَلَفْظُهُ : " خَيْرُ صَلَاةِ النِّسَاءِ فِي قَعْرِ بُيُوتِهِنَّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى وَلَفْظُهُ : " خَيْرُ صَلَاةِ النِّسَاءِ فِي قَعْرِ بُيُوتِهِنَّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The best of the mosques of women is the innermost part of their homes."
Imam Ahmad and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it, and the wording of their narration is: "The best prayer of women is the one offered in the innermost part of the home." Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, who has been criticized.
