وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْغُدُوُّ وَالرَّوَاحُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ مِنَ الْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثِقَةٌ وَفِيهِ اخْتِلَافٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Going to the mosques in the morning and the evening is part of jihad in the path of Allah Almighty."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains al-Qasim bin Abd al-Rahman, who is thiqah (trustworthy), though there is disagreement about him.
