بَابٌ : أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ ، وَأَيُّ الدِّينِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ ؟ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الدِّينِ إِلَى اللَّهِ الْحَنِيفِيَّةُ السَّمْحَةُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْغِفَارِيُّ ، مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The religion most beloved to Allah Almighty is the one that stands firm on the straight path and is easy."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Ibrahim al-Ghifari, who is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected).
