بَابٌ : أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ ، وَأَيُّ الدِّينِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ ؟ .

وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْإِيمَانِ أَنْ تَعْلَمَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَكَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَقَالَ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ . قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ بِثِقَةٍ وَلَا جَرْحٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَقَالَ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ . قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ بِثِقَةٍ وَلَا جَرْحٍ .
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most excellent faith is that you know (that is, are certain) that wherever you are, Allah Almighty is with you." Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and he said: Uthman bin Kathir is alone in narrating it.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: I have not seen anyone mention him with either a declaration of trustworthiness or a criticism.
