Sayyiduna Imam al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard my grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), say: "Whoever regularly goes back and forth to the mosques gains a brother (who loves him) for the sake of Allah Almighty, or knowledge that is rare and fresh, or a word that guides him to right guidance, or a word that turns him away from ruin, and such a person abandons sins out of modesty and fear (of Allah), or he gains a blessing, or a mercy that is awaited."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Sa'd bin Tarif al-Iskaf, on whose weakness there is agreement.
