Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1910

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The mu'adhdhin who hopes for reward is like the martyr who is soaked in his own blood (the mu'adhdhin is counted in this state) until he finishes giving the adhan. Every wet and dry thing will bear witness in his favour, and if he dies, his body will not decay in his grave."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Fadl al-Qustani, and I have not found anyone who mentions him.
