بَابُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ لَا يَنَامُونَ .

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيَنَامُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " النَّوْمُ أَخُو الْمَوْتِ ، وَأَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ لَا يَنَامُونَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Will the people of Paradise sleep?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sleep is the brother of death, and the people of Paradise will not sleep."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and al-Bazzar recorded it; the narrators of al-Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih.
