وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : وَقَامَ آخَرُ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبِرْنَا عَنْ ثِيَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، أَخَلْقٌ يُخْلَقُ أَمْ نَسْجٌ يُنْسَجُ ؟ فَضَحِكَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مِمَّ تَضْحَكُونَ ؟ مِنْ جَاهِلٍ يَسْأَلُ عَالِمًا أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ ؟ ؟ " . قَالَ : " أَنَا ذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ " . قَالَ : " تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهَا ثِمَارُ الْجَنَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Another man stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Tell us about the clothes of the people of Paradise: have they already been made, or will they be woven?" Some of those present laughed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What are you people laughing at? At an ignorant man asking a scholar? Where is the man who asked the question?" He said: "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The fruits of Paradise will split open to bring them forth."
