وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ جَنَّةَ عَدْنٍ خَلَقَ فِيهَا مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ ، وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ ، وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهَا : تَكَلَّمِي . فَقَالَتْ : " قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When Allah Almighty created the Garden of Eden ('Adn), He created in it things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and the thought of which has never occurred to any human heart. Then Allah Almighty said to that Garden: 'Speak!' It said: 'Indeed, the believers have succeeded.'"
