وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ : أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَشْفَعُ لَهُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ ، وَأَهْلُ مَكَّةَ ، وَأَهْلُ الطَّائِفِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Abd al-Malik bin Abbad bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "From my Ummah, the first for whom I will intercede are the people of Madinah, the people of Makkah and the people of Ta'if."
