وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - يَدْعُو النَّاسَ [ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ] بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ سَتْرًا مِنْهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ ، وَأَمَّا عِنْدَ الصِّرَاطِ ; فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - يُعْطِي كُلَّ مُؤْمِنٍ نُورًا [ وَكُلَّ مَؤْمِنَةٍ نُورًا ] ، وَكُلَّ مُنَافِقٍ نُورًا ، فَإِذَا اسْتَوَوْا عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ سَلَبَ اللَّهُ نُورَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ ، فَقَالَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ : انْظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِنْ نُورِكُمْ ، وَقَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ : رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا ، فَلَا يَذْكُرُ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ أَحَدٌ أَحَدًا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ : أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will call people by their names, and this will be from Him as a veil (of concealment) for His servants. But as for the matter at the Sirat (the Bridge), there Allah Almighty will grant light to every believing man, grant light to every believing woman, and grant light to every hypocrite. But when they come onto the Sirat, Allah Almighty will take away the light of the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women. Then the hypocrites will say (as is mentioned in the Qur'an in these words): 'Wait for us, so that we may acquire some of your light.' And the believers will say (as is mentioned in the Qur'an in these words): 'Our Lord, perfect our light for us.'" (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "At that time no one will remember anyone else."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ishaq bin Bishr Abu Hudhayfah, who is matruk (abandoned).
