Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to the owner on account of the slave, and woe to the slave on account of the owner; woe to the rich on account of the poor, and woe to the poor on account of the rich; woe to the strong on account of the weak, and woe to the weak on account of the strong."
Al-Bazzar recorded this narration from his teacher Muhammad bin al-Layth. Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned this narrator in Kitab al-Thiqat and said: He makes mistakes and narrates contrary to others. (Allamah Haythami says:) I did not find him mentioned in "Mizan al-I'tidal". The remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih, except that the narrator al-A'mash did not hear from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him).
Abu Ya'la has also recorded this narration.
