وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ عِنْدَهُ : مَا رُفِعَتْ مَائِدَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَعَلَيْهَا فَضْلَةٌ مِنْ طَعَامٍ قَطُّ .
In a report recorded by him the wording is: "Whenever the dining cloth was lifted from before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), there was never any leftover food on it."
