وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : مَا شَبِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي يَوْمٍ شَبْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never ate his fill twice in one day, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) left this world.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abd al-Hamid bin Sulayman, who is da'if (weak).
