بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يُؤَخِّرُ الصَّلَاةَ عَنِ الْوَقْتِ .
One who delays the prayer beyond its time

وَعَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " سَيَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَئِمَّةٌ يُمْسُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِهَا ، فَصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا ، وَاجْعَلُوا صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ سُبْحَةً " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ رَاشِدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَدُحَيْمٌ وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ رَاشِدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَدُحَيْمٌ وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Soon after me there will be rulers who will delay the prayer beyond its appointed times. So offer the prayer at its proper time, and make your prayer with them a voluntary prayer."
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Awsat recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Rashid bin Dawud, whom al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak), while Yahya bin Ma'in, Duhaym and Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
