وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : إِيَّاكُمْ وَصِعَابَ الْقَوْلِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ ، وَعَوْنٌ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Beware of harsh and difficult speech!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains al-Mas'udi, who suffered from mental confusion (ikhtilat), and the narrator Awn did not meet Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
