Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18097

Sayyiduna Amr bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he said: "O Messenger of Allah! Should I leave my mount untied and rely upon Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rather, tie it and then rely upon Allah!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains. In one of the two chains there is a narrator, Amr bin Abdullah bin Umayyah al-Damri, whom I do not know; the remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
