وَعَنْ سَبْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ حِينَ نَزَلَ الْحِجْرَ : " مَنِ اعْتَجَنَ مِنْ هَذِهِ ؟ " - يَعْنِي بِئْرَهُمْ - شَيْئًا فَلْيُلْقِهِ " . فَأَلْقَى ذُو الْعَجِينِ عَجِينَهُ ، وَصَاحِبُ الْحَيْسِ حَيْسَهُ .
Sayyiduna Sabrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the settlement called "al-Hijr", he said to his Companions: "Who has kneaded dough with this?" The narrator says: Meaning, with the water of their well there. "Whoever has done so should throw it away." The narrator states: So the one who had kneaded dough threw away his dough, and the one who had made hays threw away his hays.
