وَعَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ .
Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Muhammad al-Warraq, who is matruk (abandoned). Al-Bazzar also recorded it in the same way.
