بَابُ الْمُتَحَابِّينَ فِي اللَّهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - .
Those who love one another for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic

وَعَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا تَحَابَّ اثْنَانِ فِي اللَّهِ إِلَّا وُضِعَ لَهُمَا كُرْسِيَّانِ فَأُجْلِسَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَفْرَغَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْحِسَابِ " . فَقَالَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ : صَدَقَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْأَعْمَى ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah bin al-Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever two men love one another for the sake of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty will have two chairs set up for them, and they will be kept seated on those chairs until Allah Almighty has finished the reckoning." At this, Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah (may Allah be pleased with him) has spoken the truth.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Dawud al-A'ma (the blind), and he is kadhdhab (a liar).
