Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17988

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever looks at his brother with a look of love, while there is no enmity in his heart towards that brother, his past sins are forgiven before he blinks."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Siwar bin Mus'ab, who is matruk (abandoned).
