بَابُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ مُسْلِمًا لِلَّهِ أَحَبَّهُ الْآخَرُ .
Whoever loves a Muslim for the sake of Allah, the other will love him too

عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ : مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : إِنَّ هَذَا [ الرَّجُلَ ] يُحِبُّنِي ، قَالُوا : وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ يَا أَبَا عَبَّاسٍ ؟ قَالَ : لِأَنِّي أُحِبُّهُ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى عَنْ شَيْخِهِ : مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ ، وَقَدْ ضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Mujahid narrates: A man passed by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he said: "This man loves me." The people asked: "O Abu Abbas! How do you know that?" He said: "Because I love him too."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this narration from his teacher Muhammad bin Qudamah, whom the majority declared da'if (weak), while Ibn Hibban and others declared him trustworthy; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
