وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدٌ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ إِلَّا أَكْرَمَ رَبَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever a servant loves another servant purely for the pleasure of Allah, he is (thereby) only honouring and revering his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic."
