بَابُ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَأْلَفُ وَيُؤْلَفُ .

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْلَفُ وَيُؤْلَفُ ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِيمَنْ لَا يَأْلَفُ وَلَا يُؤْلَفُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَهْرَامٍ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer shows affection and is shown affection, and there is no good in one who neither shows affection nor is shown affection."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Bahram, whom I do not know, and the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
