Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Look at the man of the highest standing in the mosque! The narrator says: I looked, and there was a man wearing a hullah (that is, a costly garment). I said: This one. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Look at the man of the lowest standing in the mosque! The narrator says: I looked, and there was a man wearing worn-out clothes. I said: This one. The narrator says: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, this (poor man) will be better in the sight of Allah Almighty than enough people like that (well-off man) to fill the earth."
Ahmad recorded it with several chains, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
