بَابٌ فِيمَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى الْعَيْشِ الشَّدِيدِ ، وَلَمْ يَشْكُ إِلَى النَّاسِ .
One who bears a hard life patiently and does not complain to people

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ جَاعَ أَوِ احْتَاجَ فَكَتَمَهُ النَّاسَ ، وَأَفْضَى بِهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يَفْتَحَ لَهُ قُوتَ سَنَةٍ مِنْ حَلَالٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْحِصْنِيُّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is hungry or in need and conceals it from people, and entrusts his matter to Allah, it is binding upon Allah Almighty to grant him a year's provision by lawful means."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Isma'il bin Raja' al-Hisni, whom al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak).
