Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17676

Sayyiduna Jundab bin Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever hidden matter a servant keeps, Allah Almighty clothes him with a cloak of the same kind: if it is good, then good; and if it is evil, then evil."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Hamid bin Adam, and he is a kadhdhab (liar).
