Book of Supplications
بَابُ الْأَدْعِيَةِ الْمَأْثُورَةِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الَّتِي دَعَا بِهَا ، وَعَلَّمَهَا .

اُردوEn
وَعَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي ، وَفِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي إِلَيْهَا مَصِيرِي ، وَفِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا بَلَاغِي ، وَاجْعَلْ حَيَاتِي زِيَادَةً فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ " رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ صَالِحِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ جَزَرَةَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite: 'Allahumma barik li fi dini alladhi huwa ismatu amri, wa fi akhirati allati ilayha masiri, wa fi dunyaya allati fiha balaghi, waj'al hayati ziyadatan fi kulli khayr, waj'al al-mawta rahatan li min kulli sharr'
(O Allah! Bless me in my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs; bless me in my Hereafter, to which I must return; bless me in my world, in which lies my sustenance; make my life a means of increase in every good, and make my death a relief for me from every evil.)
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Salih bin Muhammad Jazarah, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
