Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Whenever I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicate, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would begin the supplication by reciting:
'Subhana Rabbiya al-Aliyyi al-A'la al-Wahhab'
(My Lord is free from every defect, the Most High, the Most Exalted, the Bestower of abundant gifts.)
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded something similar; its chain contains Umar bin Rashid al-Yamami, whom more than one scholar declared thiqah (trustworthy), and the remaining narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
