وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَيْضًا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الدُّعَاءُ سِلَاحُ الْمُؤْمِنِ ، وَعِمَادُ الدِّينِ ، وَنُورُ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Supplication is the weapon of the believer, the pillar of the religion, and the light of the heavens and the earth."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Hasan bin Abi Yazid, who is matruk (abandoned).
