Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17137

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When some great (calamity or major disaster) occurs, or a dark (that is, dusty) violent wind blows, then you must say the takbir (Allahu Akbar), for it will clear away the black smoke (or dust)."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Anbasah bin Abd al-Rahman, who is matruk (abandoned).
